The mission and purpose of the Christian Church here on earth is that victory over sin and death and the power of the devil is proclaimed to all nations, that we as the Body of Christ might nurture and strengthen each other, and that we encourage each other as we deal with a world broken by sin.
To this end, the mission of our congregation is Mt. Calvary: where new life begins.
How is this accomplished?
Through time spent together in weekly worship and Bible study, but also daily through the reading of His Word, so that we may no longer be children tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine.
Our mission and vision work together in the following way.
The Gospel must first be heard, and the Holy Spirit calls each of us to repentance and faith. We then partake of God's Holy Word and Sacrament, that we might be strengthened to go forth and proclaim this victory to others.
